Abdul-Rahman Mohammed: President
Mr. Abdul Rahman started farming in 1998. In 2008, he became the National President of the Cotton Farmers Association. He was elected National President of the Peasant Farmers Association of Ghana in September 2014. He is also the Chairman of the Garu-Tempane Farmers Association of Ghana and the PFAG regional representative for the Upper East Region. He is an entrepreneur and owes several businesses such as Cedebasiri International and Ramania English/Arabic School all at Kongo in the Garu-Tempane District of the Upper East Region.

Nana Ameyaw Manu: Vice President
Mr. Ameyaw Manu is the Assemblyman for the people of Abanim Techiman in the Techiman South District and also the Regional Representative of PFAG for the Brong Ahafo Region. He is the CEO of Techiman Eleven Wonders FC and Adeaso River Farms and the Director of Naameyaw Company Limited all in the Brong Ahafo Region.

Ex/Sgt Enjonami Amoak: Treasurer
Ex/Sgt Enjonami Amoak retired from the Ghana Armed Forces in 1979. He is the President of the Okyereko Cooperative Society in the Gomoa East District and the Central Regional Representative for PFAG. He was adjudged the National Best Irrigation Farmer in the 2014 National Farmers Best Farmer Awards and has won other awards such as the Overall Best District Farmer in the year 2000 and District Livestock Best Farmer in 1999.

Borsutie Jawol Suraj: National Organizer
Mr. Borsutie Jawol Suraj holds a Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast where he graduated in 2010. He was a Cotton Production Assistant (CPA) at OLAM Ghana Limited in 2012. He is the Upper West Regional Representative of PFAG and currently the Team Manager of CJE Company, where he coordinates in the buying, selling, storage, transport and Distribution of Maize and Fertilizer in the three Northern Regions of Ghana.

Benard Kanati: Board Member
Mr. Benard Kanati is a founding member of PFAG. He is a rice farmer, seed grower, and an active member of Ghana Rice Interprofessional Body (GRIB). Mr. Kanati serves as the PFAG regional representative for the Greater Accra Region and the focal person for the Ashaiman District.

Asiedu Biney: Board Member
Mr. Asiedu Biney is an Industrialist and the Chairman of Peasant Farmers Association of Ghana, Kadjebi District and also the Volta Regional Representative of PFAG. He is also the Community Development Coordinator for the Asato Traditional Council. In the 2008 National Best Farmer Awards, he won the Best Plantain Farmer in Volta Region.

Adbul-Mateen Alhassan: Board Member
Mr. Abdul-Mateen Alhassan attained a Higher National Diploma in Statistics from Tamale Polytechnic  in 2009, and attended the University of Education in Winneba from 2011-2013. From 2009-2012 he served as a monitoring officer for PFAG for a farm project in the Northern Region. He later became the focal person for the Northern Region until 2014 when he was nominated and elected to serve as a board member.

Dede Bedu-Addo: Board Member
Dede works as a private Consultant on Gender and Social Development issues with particular interest in gender issues, rural and organisational development, M & E, agriculture, education, environmental issues and HIV/AIDS. Dede has over 23 years experience in working on development issues at all levels – local/community, national, regional and international. She has done extensive work with both governmental and non-governmental organisations.
